Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Willow Center!
Due to the current health crisis and New York State requirements and guidelines regarding social-distancing, cleaning and sanitation, we are largely unable to accept in-person volunteers in our facilities at this time. Willow Center relies on volunteers and the community to fulfill our mission, so we are introducing new virtual volunteer opportunities!
To become a volunteer in the future and to be on our volunteer mailing list:
All volunteers must:
-
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Sign a statement of confidentiality
- Volunteers who work directly with clients or in children’s programs will:
- Receive finger printing and background checks
- Attend Willow Center’s Domestic Violence Advocacy Training (free of charge).
For more updates regarding current volunteer opportunities, alerts and information about the Willow Center please check our social media @WillowCenterNY on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
If you have an idea regarding a volunteer opportunity or project, fundraising opportunity or would like to speak to us more about volunteering please be in touch, we’re all ears! Please contact: volunteer@WillowCenterNY.org
Please note: Willow Center is unable to accept individuals seeking volunteer opportunities to fulfill court mandated community service hours.
A Willow Center staff member will be in contact with you regarding the status of the volunteer program and current opportunities.
