A Legacy That Keeps Showing Up
This tournament exists because a community refused to let a beautiful legacy go.
For five years — from 2019 through 2025 — Claire, Paige, and Jill Baker honored their mother Julie by hosting the Julie Baker Memorial Golf Tournament. Julie Baker was a beloved member of the Rochester and Canandaigua communities.
Her daughters carried that commitment forward in the most powerful way imaginable:
raised for Willow over five years
In 2025, what was meant to be the final tournament became something else entirely — proof of how deeply this community had taken Julie’s legacy to heart. You spoke up. Loudly. Clearly. You weren’t ready to say goodbye.
So with the full support and blessing of Claire, Paige, and Jill, Willow is proud to carry this tradition forward as The Willow Classic: Drive for Change — inspired by Julie Baker, and built on the extraordinary foundation the Baker Girls created with so much love.
“Same purpose. Same hope. A legacy that keeps showing up — year after year — for survivors.”

Why This Tournament Matters
Willow Domestic Violence Center provides life-saving shelter, advocacy, and support services to survivors of domestic violence in the greater Rochester area. We believe every person deserves to live free from fear — and every dollar raised through The Willow Classic helps make that belief a reality.
The Baker Girls proved what’s possible when a community rallies around a cause. Over $300,000. Five years. Countless lives touched. The Willow Classic exists to keep that momentum going.
