When survivors are quarantined in their home or in proximity to their abuser, it can create circumstances where their safety is compromised and they may need to alter their safety plan. We continue to provide a full spectrum of essential services, including emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis and support hotline, counseling, and safety planning, while following best practices and guidance from the Monroe County Department of Public Health. We are fortunate to have Dr. Michael Mendoza, Commissioner of Public Health, as a Board member and trusted friend who is providing clear guidance to Willow Center and the entire community in preparing for what may lie ahead. As the licensed provider of residential and non-residential domestic violence services in Monroe County, Willow Center is receiving guidance and support from federal and state partners as the situation unfolds.
