Willow is Moving!

Willow Domestic Violence Center will be relocating many of its programs to the new facility at Skyview on the Ridge in summer 2026. The residential and shelter programs will remain at the Shill Family Building which is a secure and confidential location. On October 20, 2025, Willow held a ceremonial groundbreaking event at the site in Irondequoit, attended by community partners, civic leaders, and survivors.

The new facility will be a 16,000-square-foot building located on the former mall site at Skyview on the Ridge, and it will serve as the permanent home for the Willow Family Justice Center.

Funded in part by a state grant of around $2.2 million, this project is the result of extensive collaboration among Willow, community partners, and state officials.

Once open, the center will provide a wide range of services under one roof—legal and civil advocacy, counseling, forensic exams, evidence collection, housing support, a food pantry, clothing closet, and trauma-informed shared spaces that accommodate survivors, their children, and even their pets.

This move marks a major milestone in Willow’s mission to ensure that survivors of domestic violence in the Rochester area have streamlined, wrap-around support—reducing barriers like transportation and scattered services.
