Counseling

I had kept silent so my friends and family wouldn’t think less of him…or me. It wasn’t until I actually started counseling there that I really came to understand that I had been abused. I look at it now as a fog that so slowly enveloped my life that, at the time, I didn’t realize how short sighted I was becoming.” – Excerpt from survivor thank you note

“When I lost my job due to my abuser bothering me at work so much, Willow helped me with support and tools I needed to prepare myself for the long journey of recovering from domestic violence. Little by little my wings have gained strength and I lift them up again. My cage door is not completely open yet, but Willow has helped me minimize the obstacles. When I falter, I can come to group or make an appointment at Willow.” – Willow client
